Virtual Tours
To use the virtual tours, you need:
- Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator version 5 or greater.
- Quicktime 5 or higher. (See Quicktime Below)
- A color monitor set to at least 800 x 600 pixels and at least 16-bit color.
Quicktime
To view the Virtual Tours, you must have Quicktime 5 or 6 installed. Chances are, you already have a version of Quicktime on your computer, whether you have a Macintosh or a PC. It's important that you have Quicktime 5 or 6. Quicktime 4 and earlier will not let you go from scene to scene, and it won't let you use the mouse to look up and down. The latest version of Quicktime is available for free at apple.com..

When you view the tours you should see a blue Q appear, and then an image of the site you selected. You might also see a blank square for a few seconds, depending on the speed of your internet connection.

If you view the tours and nothing happens, or if your computer says it does not recognize the file format, download the latest version of Quicktime here.
Note the Control Bar below the Quicktime movies:

You can also zoom in by pressing the Shift key on your keyboard. You can zoom out by pressing the Control key (PC) or Command (Mac). Hotspots are the areas you click on to go to the next scene.
1) The virtual tour takes a long time to load.
Give it time. Some of the files are very large, and may take a minute or so to load on slower computers.
2) The Virtual Tour panoramas load, but they won't pan (move side-to-side).
You probably need to install the newest version of Quicktime. Click here.
TIP: Some of the scenes in the Virtual Tour are simple photographs--they are not panoramas, so you can't look around. To turn around, click on the bottom of the photo.
3) I installed Quicktime, and it still doesn't work.
Uninstall it, and re-install it. Make sure you select the COMPLETE installation.
4) Pages won't load
This site was designed for Internet Explorer 5 or later, and Netscape Navigator 6 or later. If it doesn't work, you need to upgrade your Internet Browser. You can do this for free online at your Internet Provider's home page.
