Transportation

Getting to, from and around Helena couldn't be more convenient. The Helena airport is served by Delta Airlines and Northwest Airlines, both offering flights to and from domestic and international destinations. Horizon Air, associated with Alaska Airlines, also provides connections to Spokane, Portland and other West Coast cities. Big Sky Airlines flies to Billings and Kalispell, Montana three times a day each, with connections to Alaska, Canadian, Continental and American Airlines, providing links to Denver, Minneapolis and the East Coast as well as some eastern Montana cities.

On the ground, Rimrock Trailways offer six departures daily with service to Bozeman, Billings, Butte, Great Falls, Missoula, Kalispell and all points in between. Rimrock connects with Greyhound in Missoula and Bozeman for travel to points east and west.

And you’ll have no problem getting around Helena. Dial-a-Ride offers both door-to-door service as well as 19 regularly scheduled stops connecting downtown Helena with the east side of the city. Helena is also home to four major car rental companies. Hertz, Enterprise, National and Rent-A-Wreck are conveniently located for travelers that require a rental car.
